Castello di Farnetella is a hidden jewel in the Colli Senesi area. Located in a prime, high-elevation microclimate, Farnetella is well-suited to Sangiovese, and there are also plots of Merlot, Syrah, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. Grapes are hand-harvested and are farmed with the same attention and precision as those at Felsina, the Poggiali family’s more famous property to the north. Organic and sustainable farming is practiced.
