JS93: Blueberry and blackberry aromas with cool hints of wet earth and violets. Medium body, firm and silky tannins and a pretty finish.

VM92: The 2016 Merlot RCF Vineyard is powerful and also surprisingly intense, with a little more structure than I am used tobseeing in this wine. Not that that is a bad thing at all. Dark red cherry, mocha, leather, licorice and espresso notes are boldly rendered in this juicy, super-expressive Merlot. Dollops of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot round out the blend.
