Long on the palate, it’s packed with structure and is medium to full-bodied, with mouthwatering mineral accents of saline, a balanced seam of acidity, and ripe tannins. It expands across the palate and retains good focus. Drink 2025-2040.
VM94: The 2021 Pinot Noir Bishop Creek Vineyard is dark and brooding, with a smoldering blend of crushed black cherries, dusty earth, savory herbs and cloves. Silky textures are energized by zesty acidity. Masses of tart wild berries cascade across the palate, depositing saline minerals and silky tannins that mount toward the close. Despite its youthful structure, it finishes unexpectedly fresh and lifted with a crunchy sensation as hints of sour citrus linger.
