JS96: The brightness of fruit with blackcurrants, cedar and lead pencil is so vivid here. Medium- to full-bodied with integrated and polished tannins and focused fruit that remains fresh and tensioned. The solid center palate showcases density and balance. Seamless and really long. An exciting vintage from Dauzac. Drink after 2027.

VM93: The 2022 Dauzac has another intense bouquet, with blacker fruit than it showed from barrel, though still well defined and vibrant. Touches of blueberry and violet emerge with time in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied and quite fleshy, with succulent ripe tannins, fine weight, purity and a layered, spicy finish. It's opulent for Dauzac, though this is still well made and quite delicious.
