Javier San Pedro Ortega is a fifth-generation vine grower and winemaker in Laguardia, Rioja Alavesa’s most emblematic village. While only in his thirties, his precise winemaking has made him one of Rioja’s rising stars. Cueva de Lobos Blanco is 100% Viura featuring a clean, crisp style. Grapes are sourced largely in Rioja Alavesa, near the Sierra de Cantabrian Mountains. The average vine age is around 20 years. Look for notes of fresh lemon peel and a hint of almond.
