VM95: The 2002 Marquis d'Angerville Volnay Taillepieds was deep, rich, resonate and beautifully balanced.

WA92-94: Riper and more plump on the nose with the typical smoky blackberry scent. The palate is more masculine than Champans but has excellent concentration. Firm and tannic with a long finish. This has good aging potential. Tasted 1/04
