JS98-99: This is a powerful and very rich red with superb concentration of tannins that run through the center palate and go on endlessly. Full-to medium-bodied. Amazing.

WA97-99+: Very deep purple-black colored, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard (a barrel sample) soars out of the glass with pronounced crème de cassis, blackberry tart and blueberry compote notes plus hints of chocolate box, cinnamon stick, rose oil and spice box. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is densely laden with black fruit preserves and spicy accents, supported by firm, grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing with great length and depth. Possessing a lot more power than many 2018s, this is truly a show-stopper in the making!
