VM92: Peay's 2014 Pinot Noir Estate Ama comes across as bold, ripe and intensely fruity. Sweet red cherry, hard candy cranberry, mint and spice notes are all pushed forward. The classic mid-weight Peay structure comes through, but, even so, this is an especially racy, flamboyant style. Time in the glass helps the wine come together nicely.
