Perched atop the steep, vine-clad hills of Treiso, the Rizzi winery is a benchmark for elegant Barbaresco. The Dellapiana family’s high-altitude, sustainably-farmed vineyards, featuring the white marl and calcareous soil of the area, were planted as early as the 1960s. This signature Barbaresco perfectly captures the Rizzi style: a complex profile of full, fresh red fruits complemented by notes of underbrush. Aged for 12 months in large oak barrels and finished in concrete, it offers a mineral, focused, and classic finish.
