VM90: The 2021 Lange Nebbiolo, from young vines in Basarin, is far from an easygoing wine. If anything, it needs time in bottle to be at its best. Today bright acids and piercing tannins dominate, and there is fine persistence, not to mention tons of class. Crushed flowers, chalk, white pepper and a burst of red berry fruit linger.
