VM91: The fruit for this estate 2021 Riesling is from numerous villages with limestone, sandy and granitic soils. It is blended every year for consistency - which here means purity and precision. A lovely tangerine hint characterizes the nose with tart citrus intensity; a touch of smoky reduction is still at play. The palate, likewise, is a picture of tart, juicy, mouth-watering citrus. It's straight, focused, slender, yet alive. Riesling lovers will rejoice at this taut and refreshing cuvée. (Bone-dry)
