VM90: The 2016 Rosso di Montalcino is a very attractive wine from Valdicava and proprietor Vincenzo Abbruzzese. Although a bit lighter than most Valdicava wines, the 2016 still has a good bit of substance underpinning the red cherry and red plum flavors. Sage, tobacco, cedar and dried herbs add pretty shades of nuance as 2016 develops in the glass.
