Castello di Ama is one of our favorite estates in Tuscany, just 12 miles northeast of Siena in the hills of Gaiole. The site is spectacular, set on a rounded hilltop 1600 feet above sea level. The 2006 Riserva (now the San Lorenzo Gran Selezione) is a cellar release direct from the winery.
