Lisini is one of Montalcino’s historic, reference-point estates. The Lisini-Clementi family has owned land in Montalcino since the sixteenth century, and the historic tower and loggia on the property date back to the 1300s. It was one of the founding members of the Consorzio di Brunello in 1967, and they remain family-run today. They grow only Sangiovese. San Biagio, from volcanic soils, is a deliciously pure Sangiovese that emphasizes fresh fruit. It delivers seductive wild berries and sage, and is a joy to drink.
