WA94+: The 2015 Volnay 1er Cru Taillepieds is very promising, offering up a complex bouquet of blood orange, plums, rich red fruits and raw cocoa. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, with more amplitude and dimension than the Caillerets, its tannins still hiding behind its succulent core of fruit, its finish long and tangy.
